 EYEBROW AFTERCARE

To keep your brows looking their best after your brow treatment, follow these gentle tips:

Hands off: avoid touching your brows for up to 24 hours to prevent bacteria from transferring and to let the skin and hairs settle. Avoid the brow area when washing your face.

Keep them dry: for tints, hybrid stains & lamination, avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours to protect colour and shape.

Avoid makeup and oil based skincare: don't use any makeup or skincare products on the brow area immediately after your treatment and avoid acids, exfoliating or oil based products completely in the eyebrow area as they can affect the tint, stain or lamination results.

Be gentle: don’t rub, scrub, or pull your brows. For lamination, use a spoolie to brush them up daily and apply a small amount of the provided aftercare serum to keep hairs nourished.

Protect from sun and heat: UV exposure, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers can irritate freshly waxed brows and can affect tint, stain or lamination results.

Let the skin settle: waxing may cause temporary redness or bumps, which should fade naturally. I apply a soothing after wax gel to waxed areas to help with any redness and swelling.

 EYELASH AFTERCARE

To keep your lashes looking their best after your treatment, follow these gentle tips:

Hands off: avoid touching or rubbing your lashes for the first few hours to prevent bacteria transferring and to allow the lashes to set properly.

Keep them dry: for lash lifts and tints, avoid water, steam, swimming and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours to protect the results.

Avoid makeup and oil based products: skip mascara, eye makeup, creams and oil based removers around the eye area for the first 24 hours, as oils can affect the lift or tint.

Be gentle: avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping directly on your lashes, as this can affect the lift and overall shape.

Avoid heat and steam: saunas, steam room and hot showers can weaken the lift and affect tint longevity.

Lash Lift Only: Brush your lashes upwards daily. Also apply a small amount of the provided aftercare serum regularly and gently brush it through your lashes  with a clean spoolie to keep them nourished.

 FACIAL AFTERCARE

To keep your skin feeling soft and glowing after your facial, here are a few tips:

Hands off: try not to touch your face straight after your treatment to let your skin settle and to avoid any bacteria going on your face potentially causing spots or irritation.

Keep makeup light: your skin will thank you for a day or so without heavy makeup.

Gentle care: use a mild cleanser and skip scrubs or strong exfoliants/acids for the next 24-48 hours.

Hydrate inside and out: moisturise as usual and drink plenty of water to support your skin’s natural glow.

Protect from the sun: wear spf factor 30 or 50 everyday when outside, even if it is a cloudy day.

Avoid heat and sweat: skip saunas, steam rooms and intense workouts for a day to prevent irritation.

Let blemishes be: if any spots appear, resist the urge to pick at them, your skin will recover naturally.

 FACIAL WAXING

 AFTERCARE

To help your skin stay smooth and calm after your facial waxing treatment, please follow these aftercare tips:

Hands off: try not to touch the treated area straight after your treatment. This helps prevent bacteria transferring onto freshly waxed skin, which could cause irritation or spots.

Keep makeup light: avoid applying makeup to the area for at least 24 hours where possible to allow the skin to settle.

Be gentle with your skin: avoid exfoliating scrubs, retinol, or strong acids on the treated area for 24 hours.

Avoid heat and sweat: skip saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and intense exercise for 24 hours, as heat can increase redness and sensitivity.

Protect from the sun: the skin can be more sensitive after waxing, so wear SPF 30 or 50 when outdoors, even on cloudy days.

Let the skin settle: waxing may cause temporary redness or bumps, which should fade naturally. I apply a soothing after wax gel to waxed areas to help with any redness and swelling.

 NAILS AFTERCARE

For the first 48 hours after your gel or builder gel manicure, any lifting is usually due to the application settling. After this time, your aftercare routine plays the biggest role in how long your nails last.

Avoid soaking or harsh water exposure: for the first 24 hours, keep nails as dry as possible to prevent lifting. After this, try not to have your hands in water for long periods.

Avoid harsh chemicals: protect your nails by wearing gloves when using cleaning products or doing washing up.

Avoid picking at your nails: this helps prevent lifting and keeps your nails intact.

Be gentle: avoid using your nails as tools for opening or prying things, as this can cause lifting or breakage.

Moisturise regularly: use cuticle oil daily to keep nails and surrounding skin nourished and hydrated.

Refill and maintenance: builder gel nails benefit from regular refills every 3-4 weeks to maintain strength and shape.

3 week infills are best if your nails grow quickly, lift easily, or if you want to maintain perfect shape and strength. This is especially good for clients who use their hands a lot.

4 week infills are better for slower growing nails or clients who are gentle with their hands. It’s also fine if the nails are still in good condition and haven’t lifted.

Leaving nails longer than 4 weeks can put pressure on the apex as it moves, which may cause lifting, breakage or damage to your natural nail.
