LIP TREATMENTS
Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that uses a cosmetic tattoo machine to gently implant pigment into the lips, enhancing their natural colour, shape, and definition. It can correct asymmetry, even out lip tone, and create the illusion of fuller lips while maintaining a soft, natural finish similar to a lip stain. Unlike traditional lip tattoos, lip blush is designed to fade over time, typically healing up to 50% lighter than immediately after treatment. It’s a popular alternative to fillers, though it can also be done alongside them. If you’re planning to get filler, this should be done at least 4 weeks prior. The process includes lip mapping to create your ideal shape, followed by precise pigmentation using liner and shader needles to build colour gradually. Your pigment shade is chosen based on your skin tone and personal preference, if you are undecided on colour, it is recommended to start lighter and adjust during the top-up session. Lip blush takes approximately 5-10 days for surface healing, during which initial swelling subsides, light scabbing and peeling occur, and the colour may appear faded or patchy. Complete internal healing takes 4-6 weeks, by which time the pigment evens out, the lips regain their natural softness, and the true healed colour emerges. Lip blush is completed over two sessions: the initial treatment and a top-up 4-6 weeks later to perfect colour, shape, and depth. Once healed, results typically last 1-3 years, with yearly colour boost top-ups recommended to maintain vibrancy. Fading is influenced by factors like skin type, sun exposure, skincare products and lifestyle. An aftercare pack is provided to each client to ensure optimal healing, maintain pigment and achieve the best long-lasting results.
